Look up by-the-numbers in the thesaurus - you'll find this film. A few so-bad-it's-good moments can't lift this film out of the realm of the mediocre. Some admittedly fairly brutal fight scenes, glued together by some MTV homoeroticism and dramatic scenes which generally play out like Dawson's Creek sans the charisma. Karate Kid this ain't! The climatic fight fascinated me so much, I fell asleep. Oh, and the sound mix sucks a big dick too! Mumbled lines drowned out by generic radio rock/ hip-hop? No thanks!
I want two hours of my life (and my £5.99) back!
