Review of Never Back Down 2: The Beatdown (2011) by Sam C — 16 Sep 2011

Never Back Down 2: The Beat Down was actually good to my surprise. I usually hate movies the go straight to DVD and sequels that go to DVD but this movie pulled it of. A couple years ago the original Never Back Down cane out and I was amazed by it because it turned out to be one of my favorite fighting movies and I was walking around my movie store and saw this I was like how didn't I know about this.

This movie is also very different from the first is so many ways. In this one four guys train with a MMA beast for a tournament to win money and they all fight for different reasons. I also have to say there are many scenes that are just totally random that should have not been in the movie because it has nothing to do with the movie.

Everyone in this movie actually did good for being actors that no one knows and MMA/UFC fighters. Even Evan Peters is back in this movie from the original except he's like on drugs and he's nothing like he was in the first.

Overall I was pleased that this didn't suck and was not a waste of my life!
