Review of Network (1976) by Andrew N — 10 Nov 2009
I'm gonna have to say this is the greatest film ever made about the media, and after repeated viewings I might actually consider it in contention for my favorite film of all time. Not only is It filled with some damn brilliant monologues and emotionally honest performance from pretty much every actor involved, but the script was downright prophetic about the role that the media would come to play in american society for the remainder of the 20th century and onwards.
I can't recommend it highly enough.
