Good movie but severely dated. References to the TV shows and news events of the day make the impact less and less as time goes on. When first done, the concept of making a movie based on these ideas was new and exciting.
Now it is hard to tell what the hoopla was all about. I think it was as much fun as anything to watch the newsroom in an era before cellular telephones, computers and the internet.
