Review of Network (1976) by Nick K — 18 May 2010
Dead on to what television and in particular news has become. Watching it today it's hard to remember that when it was made it was not reflecting the current TV culture but rather predicting what may happen in the future, and essentially it got it right.
It effectively shows that money, in a business world, trumps everything else, even reason and morals. Overall an excellent film with stellar and lifelike acting.
