Can you say Fox Network News? This is a cold prediction of what has now come to pass. News as entertainment and a vehicle with which to sell the soap (or whatever the advertisers and corporations who sponsor the network want us to buy), or political agenda, but not the truth.
Was Frank Zappa inspired by this when he wrote "I Am the Slime?" Brilliant writing by Chayevsky and the acting top rate. We missed seeing it when it came out, living n the backwoods as we were.
A must see for thinkers.
