Review of Network (1976) by Guillaume H — 24 Jun 2013
The phantom that hovered above the 20th is still the same in the 21th. We now know the recpetion of the meidas is not homogenous but it does not diminish the potency of this satyre about alienation and donquixote révolutions.
This movie countains some of the most potent monologues about cultural inertia, capitalism as a nation and the will to forget trhough Entertainment the cinema has ever produced. Its one of Faye Dunaway best performance ever, too.
