Review of Nerve (2016) by Travis S — 04 Sep 2016
We saw this because Regal showed it for $5 all Labor Day weekend. Wasn't expecting greatness, but I was at least pleasantly surprised. It's actually relevant and thought-provoking in this modern age of social networking and reality voyeurism.
I thought several times that it was going to cross a gratuitous line but it didn't, and it maintained some classiness. The premise is actually surprisingly plausible, though it does lose it a bit at the end.
Still, I rather enjoyed it, but maybe my expectations weren't elevated to begin with?
