Review of Nerve (2016) by Shray C — 20 Mar 2017
Nerve benefits from its comprehensive understanding of its subject matter and is able to create a believable environment surrounding a game of dare; the movie is more than capable of creating intense scenes with a modern twist.
Franco's performance is lackluster but Roberts' commitment to the story is very down-to-earth. Its ending may have been a bit far-fetched, but its overall message conveyed is extremely satisfying and humbling.
