Review of Nerve (2016) by Chris F — 14 Oct 2016

Nerve is an enjoyable and fun thriller. I really liked the two leads in the film. Emma Roberts and Dave Franco are really good in their roles. They have really good chemistry together. The rest of the cast is serviceable.

Some of the acting is bad, but mostly it's fine. The film moves at a nice and fast pace, which I enjoyed. Nothing is really dragged out for its hour and a half runtime. You have a lot of fun watching them do the dares.

Unfortunately, the film suffers from a convoluted ending. I won't spoil it, but it is just very dumb. The whole film is pretty dumb, by you have a lot of fun watching it. Overall, this is a flawed but fun film that entertained me throughout the runtime.
