Review of Neon Bull (2016) by Jamesdefoe — 12 Aug 2020
This movie relies heavily on the cowboy/fashion designer dicotomy, but does so wasting every opportunity for conflict. It has no plot, which is not necessarily a problem, but way too many scenes are there just to hit the 90 minute mark.
Not even the great cast and above-average photography is able to make an endless amount of cowboy scences doing ordinary cowboy stuff something meaningful or pleasant to watch.
