North Carolina - REPRESENT! Ok, still a 'backwoods' Deliverance-style setting, but still beautiful scenary and making improvements with the many cityscape shots of Charlotte as a bustling metropolis.
As far as the movie, it almost has a believable storyline. Liam Neeson and Jodie Foster are both great. The movie seems to lack in suspense and drama. A love story is there, but it doesn't really sell you on it.
Not a bad movie though. Worth a rental.
