The concept had potential, but the story beats are all predictable, and the scenes which join the dots are mostly lazy, dull-witted and not very funny. Efron and Byrne are on good form, rogan is his usual self, but most of the 'comedy' feels like actors riffing and the director not knowing when to call cut, so there's a sense that it could have all been air better.
