Review of Neighbors (2014) by Adrian Z — 22 Jan 2016
Nightmare scenario: Rogen and Byrne are appealing as new parents who find the house next door has become a frat house with some very rowdy, party loving inhabitants, led by Efron. What follows is an entertaining cat and mouse game to get the fraternity evicted, that quickly escalates into all sorts of extremes.
Broad comedy, filled with the sort of crass humour you'd come to expect from a Rogen vehicle, (along with the requisite weed jokes, and film and TV references buffs will relish), but pacing slows each time one of the many psychedelic party scenes comes on.
