Review of Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising (2016) by Paul R — 20 May 2016
A fun 90 minutes but sadly not on par with the original, Bad Neighbours 2 ups the ante and the laughs come thick and fast but it's also quite scattershot in its approach and feels like the writers didn't really have a clear idea of what they wanted to achieve. It's essentially the same film but not as good.
It was nice to see all the original cast but some of the best characters are sidelined in favour of the new additions which sadly aren't up to scratch.
It still is very funny and I recommend giving it a go, but it certainly isn't a better film than the first.
