Review of Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising (2016) by Rain B — 17 Sep 2016

This movie was a massive let down. Where there were a lot of funny and ridiculous jokes and plot twists in the first film, this sequel took everything way too far. The sorority members commit extreme criminal acts and its laughed off like nothing.

The films over arching theme of 'feminism' actually comes across more sexist than not, in its weak and laughable portrayal of strong women. Efron, Rogen and Byrne are hilarious, along with some really enjoyable side characters.

The soundtrack also adds fun and keeps the pace going. Overall, very disappointing and I will not be recommending this to anyone.
