Review of Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising (2016) by Matt H — 21 May 2016
Neighbors 2 is good, but definitely not better than the original. I found the sorority girls to be uninteresting and poor actors. The sorority is formed by rebellious teenagers who want to live without rules. They are also feminists that hate fraternities. Really, the whole thing doesn't make sense.
There was only a sprinkle of Franco and Carmichael, but Rogen and Efron pull it off. The movie also felt rushed to felt rushed to conclusion, which may be due to the sorority not being funny in any way. This is definitely a movie that will be funnier after watching the second time around.
