Review of Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising (2016) by Tyler W — 20 Aug 2016
"Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising (2016)" is about on par with the original "Neighbors (2014)". The humor is still contagious and I absolutely loved the addition of Chloë Grace Moretz as Shelby! Further proof that Moretz can take on every single genre with ease.
It's a shame that a lot of her scenes that were shown in the trailer ended up on the cutting room floor. I admit that her character was totally different than I had imagined when I watched the trailer.
She plays a feminist type of character that will stop at nothing to gain equal rights for young women. The concept unfortunately wasn't fresh the second time around. Seeing most of the cast members return for the sequel made up for it though.
