Review of Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising (2016) by Movie M — 14 Sep 2016
"Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising", picks up right where the first "Neighbors" movie ended, with Teddy Sanders (Zac Efron), Pete (Dave Franco), and the rest of the frat moving out, and becoming adults.
Yeah, doesn't really seem like you need a sequel, I mean they've already tied up all loose ends from the original movie, but I guess it happened. However, I'm pretty glad it happened, because "Neighbours 2: Sorority Rising" was actually a fun movie.
Seth Rogen continues his natural comedic talent, Zac Efron continues to establish himself as a rising comedian, and Rose Byrne is likeable in this movie as well. There were some scenes that felt a little weak, but you know those times where a movie or TV show is so funny it actually gets you to laugh out loud? That happened to me a couple times, some of the jokes in this movie are done perfectly, and are outrageous.
"Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising" is not a comedy that will blow you away, but has elements and bits that will make it enjoyable, and a good movie to watch if you're bored.
