Review of Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising (2016) by Tatsuhito K — 19 May 2016
Although it is not as good or refreshing as the original Neighbors film and it has a lot of problems, this raunchy comedy sequel is perfectly enjoyable. It has a likable cast (Zac Efron being the standout) and some really funny jokes.
It is a weird female empowerment film that has some things to say about today's rape culture, college parties, and feminism. Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising is totally unnecessary, but hey, it's fine.
It's fun.
