My best friend and myself are both big supporters of Stephen King (he's more into the novels, and I'm more of the movie guy, but still...). We both loved "The Shining," "Misery," "The Green Mile," "The Shawshank Redemption," and "Secret Window.
" However, we did not love "Needful Things." It's not a terrible movie, just not a very good one. The acting is near-great on all accounts, but the adaptation and the direction left something to be desired.
