Had high hopes for this as a fan of the game and the Fast and Furious series. This has all the basics to make another great car racing franchise, but it just doesn't work. The tone is everywhere from overly silly teen comedy to super serious melodrama.
Just doesn't feel like it knows what it wants to be and tries to appeal to everyone which doesn't work. The only positive is Aaron Paul and the car chases which are top notch. The rest should be scrapped if they hope to make another one.
It could be great with the right changes.
