Review of Need for Speed (2014) by Sugarfall S — 21 Aug 2014
I was genuinely surprised both by how the story played out and that I actually enjoyed it. I'm not a fan of the video games and I thought Keaton's character was ungainly and even a bit sophomoric but the driving scenes work.
The amateurish approach to pathos and aggression were predictable and silly but somehow it's still worth watching though not paying for. I wouldn't watch the sequel...what does that say?
