Review of Need for Speed (2014) by Sherman M — 10 Aug 2014

If Need For Speed wasn't just a video game movie, but an action racing movie, I probably would've think it's decent. The acting is fine, especially Aaron Paul and Imogen Poots, their interactions are very nice and funny even though the other funny stuff are very odd, and the racing and the crashes are the best part of the movie.

But, consider that it's Need For Speed movie, I didn't like it. The plot is just all over the place, making it ridiculous, and I barely know anything about these characters and are there because the script needs them to.

All flaws aside, it's not one of the worst video game adaptations I watched, I didn't hate it either, just disappointed as it could've done so much better and be a rare video game movie adaptation done right.
