Review of Neds (2010) by Ashley M — 25 Feb 2011
John McGill is about to start secondary school in Glasgow, where he hopes to continue his fledgling academic career. But his dysfunctional home-life, where his father is drunk and violent, his mother is anxious and repressed and his brother is always in trouble with the law, conspire to thwart his chance of a better life.
Not a bad film, but not a great film. If u don't understand the Glasweign accent maybe you shouldn't watch it. And it has such a bad ending, what the hell was that about?
