I've felt myself give in to a cult following of the bushranger hero. I read the book by Peter Carey, and thought I'd have a look at a film as well....bad idea....shit score, shit acting, shit script.
....steer clear! This is yet another bland over-emotional drama, which seems to lack much sympathy for Ned (wich is the whole point to his following in the first place). Read Carey's story instead; it's fictional, but it grasps the legendary composition of Ned way better.
