I don't doubt that this is an overly glamourised depiction of Kellys life and crimes. Saying that however it does feature strong performances from Ledger and surprisingly Bloom and the underrated Joel Edgerton.
It does at times seem to be in love with the Australian landscape and wastes the talents of Geoffrey Rush and Naomi Watts.
