Review of Necromancy (1972) by Guillaume H — 06 Feb 2018
First, the dialogues and expositions are inane, the plotting is ludicrous and the acting is shockingly bad (That includes Orson Welles, first and foremost in the bad, but also Pamela Franklin and Michael Ontkean who both had occasions to shine elsewhere but here are just apalling).
But even with all these major flaws, this whole thing is tied in a neat bow of creepy vintage, fake esoteric and dreadful new age steeped in black magic, so it is incredibly yummy, in a hammy way.
