Too slow. OK I get it, intellectuals rate this movie highly because they love to fantasize they are living the bourgeoisie Midwestern lifestyle. So hip. I lived this lifestyle for over 20 years and it sucks.
At least wake up this snooze fest with higher pace. Several of the scenes were funny but they needed an energy drink or two. It was kinda like a slow paced Rosanne show but at least Roseann could afford color film.
Next,... not a fan of 2013 Academy Award nominations.
