Review of Nebraska (2013) by Trevor E — 24 Apr 2014
A film that succeeds in portraying the average family's awkward pleasant and yet argumentative dynamics as well as the realities and fears of dying rural towns. The additional father-son elements, the complications of male dignity, and how people's return home make them wonder what could have been, made this film far deeper than expected, and thus far more enjoyable.
