A longstanding tale of ancestors, worship and correlation of missing the chap underneath the reminiscences, of not forever sensitive the inhabitants you've lived with all your life. But the movie also has a gloomy, more contemporary compassion, obscured beneath the script's depressing, bittersweet shades of grey.
