Review of Near Dark (1987) by Chris S — 31 May 2010
A terrific take on the vampire myth, departing from the usual gothic overtones of past vampire movies. Much more erotic and enthralling than Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt's poor homo-erotic "Interview With the vampire".
Sadly a very small and lesser known film compared to Joel Schumacher's much more mainstream flick, "The Lost Boys".
