Review of Navy Seals (1990) by Jeremy C — 23 Jan 2008

This was a lot better movie than I had expected. years ago I guess I was a little too irritable to get through the first 5 to 10 minutes because right after the stuff I remember it turned to some cool action.

it seemed kindof dumb that this movie was about a team fucking up right off before having to do detective work to try and complete the mission later on. after they lose the missiles and let a chief bad guy go they have to do some detective work to try and complete their mission.

.. that for some reason the government couldn't do afterward. I think that the shoot up scenes were pretty cool but could've been a little better and more realistic. the people they chose for this line of work are much better than the representation in this movie and very carefully chosen.

I think charlie sheen would've been fucked over for pulling a move like he did these days without any reason. but either way it was fun and only had a few tacky moments. the action and the story were not bad.

.. but could've been so much better. it loses 2 stars for not working on creating the most realistic action possible through the director and mainly the actors.
