Review of Navy Seals (1990) by Wesley G — 12 Nov 2009
Two hot-headed SEALs loaded with testosterone argue and bicker their way through this near 2 hour film. I find that Michael Biehn is better when he's screaming about futuristic cyborgs or calling the shots in a zombie apocalypse, and not a suave, go-to-bed-with-me kind of guy.
Some decent action, especially nicknaming Bill Paxton's sniper character "God," and the whole squad "Bad Karma." The golf course scene seemed a little silly for me, even when the guys were goofing off.
I figured their pasttime would have been something else. I could go on with my complaints, but I'll stop there.
