Review of Navajo Joe (1966) by Chris H — 19 Jan 2013
An unusually entertaining spaghetti western. Sure, it has a few flaws - for one, Burt Reynolds is the least convincing Native American ever, and the movie has some pacing issues - but overall, I really enjoyed "Navajo Joe.
" It had a lot of good action sequences, a nice score and, at times, some surprisingly fantastic cinematography (seriously, there are some landscape shots in this movie that would make Roger Deakins wet himself with glee).
So yeah, "Navajo Joe" certainly deserves a watch - I highly recommend it for anyone who is remotely interested in spaghetti westerns, or westerns in general.
