Review of Natural Born Killers (1994) by Joe M — 07 Jul 2012
Equal parts fearless and reckless, Stone's deliriously-styled satire does have some important things to say about our society's celebrity-like obsession with some truly evil people. While I can't deny that the film does have moments where it dips into the unsavory and the gratuitous strictly for shock's sake, I think the core of the film is a topic worth discussing and exploring.
If anything, I credit Stone (and Quentin Tarantino) for asking questions most filmmakers wouldn't even touch.
