Review of Natural Born Killers (1994) by Tom H — 07 Oct 2013
The satire often falls flat but the protagonists' dark enthusiasm makes them simultaneously monstrous and sympathetic which does prove Stone's larger point in this film. In some sense, this movie seems to confront its audience as being morally complicit in its OWN violence! I'm reminded of Georges Bataille's essay about evil in literature.
Certainly well-worth watching.
