Review of National Treasure: Book of Secrets (2007) by Harry W — 30 Jul 2012
If you're expecting anything new with National Treasure: Book of Secrets, don't. But if you enjoyed the first one, it isn't difficult to enjoy the second. The story is different, but the events are EXACTLY the same, from the car chase to the final discovery.
However, since National Treasure is clearly a more kid-friendly Indiana jones film with all the childish twists and turns that are enjoyable, National Treasure: Book of Secrets is exactly as expected and still enjoyable.
Rarely does a sequel that is so like the first one work well. This is one of the rare cases.
