Review of National Treasure (2004) by Matthew Y — 17 Sep 2011
What a mess of a movie. So much goes on that makes no sense. It was still decently entertaining if you don't think too hard about all the supposed secrets and clues leading to the treasure. Once you do, though, the movie crumbles pretty quick.
It felt to me like a movie version of Uncharted. I love those games, but they are actually way better than this. The search around the world for long lost buried treasure. I watched this with Benjamin, and he really seemed to like it.
I probably would have as a 10-year-old, too. Your mind has yet to be infiltrated by reality.
