Review of National Treasure (1927) by Brad R — 27 May 2011
THE VERDICT?
If The Bourne Identity, Mission Impossible and Indiana Jones had a hot and slightly perverse night of steamy passion then National Treasure would be their implausible but family friendly love child.
Easily watchable with a satisfying pace and some good thriller style chase scenes, this is one fun and cool looking movie. The man of a thousand accents Sean Bean makes a good bad guy, and I enjoy Nicolas Cage even when nobody else seems to! It's hardly an oscar winner, but it's a satisfying popcorn flick all the same.
