Review of National Treasure (1927) by Jesse M — 04 Aug 2012
Good, but nothing special, as is the case with most Disney family movies. Disney's aim with "National Treasure" is to film a fun movie filled with action that children will be capable of understanding.
In a way, their goal was accomplished. The plot was simple, and there were no major twists. The film was predictable. Nicolas Cage isn't genuine whatsoever; his bodily gestures are robotic. Justin Bartha is funny, but nowhere near perfect.
"National Treasure" isn't anything special, but it suffices as an average family movie.
