Insane pairing of Martin and Steve but it works alright. Action falls in whenever possible but not very impact. Movie start off with thieves breaking into a warehouse. Steve Zahn and his cop partner attend reach the scene and split up.

The partner is under attack and shot dead, right in front of Steve who can't help because of a bulletproof glass. The big boss Colm Feore tell him not to start his own agenda. Bill Duke assure him it will solve.

Martin Lawrence is in test for police try out and cause havoc for the car chase test. When he try to get his own car key at the ignition, Steve check on him and Martin is piss. They struggle and Martin saw a bee and he say he is allergic.

Steve try to whack it but the angle look like he use brutal force on Martin and whole act is video down. It become racial issue and they have no choice but to send Steve to trial and he go to jail for 6 months.

All the black aim him and Steve beat the guard to stay in solitary. After release, he become security guard. He listen to police channel and do his own investigation, hoping to nail the killer. Martin is hooking up a babe in the warehouse he is suppose to guard.

Steve intercept a similar message as before and arrive. The baddies led by Eric Roberts (the killer) shootout with the duo and escape. The duo chase and is stop by cops. Bill told Martin Steve will go to jail if he is guilty of trying to avenge on him after release.

Martin use the chance to make him apologise and forgo the matter. He just want to work this bust up together with Steve. He got info on a red truck and they found it by chance. The crime van is behind the truck.

Martin try to start the car but the alarm sounded. Eric get down and the duo accelerate out and landed down on dump trawler. Steve open up the loot and it is a beer barrel. They bring it to his friend who try to melt it but realise it is state of the art metal aloy that is in aerospace industry and withstand heat.

It is worth millions. Steve bring back to his home. His girlfriend left him because of the 'racial abuse'. Martin says he will tell truth to his girlfriend. She is a hot black woman (Robinne Lee) and Martin quickly change his mind.

She chase both out. Steve go to pound to retrieve his car but cops arrive. Martin got a police car and duo escape. They are now wanted for the shooting at the bridge. Steve realise it should be insider, a dirty cop doings.

They screen address and hold up a lady (Cleo King) for her car. She slap Steve for no manners and drive them to destination instead. They learn their manners. While waiting at the place, Martin climbs inside.

Eric and co arrive and shoot at him. Steve try to kill Eric but he escape. Martin is shot and Steve bring him to Robinne who is nurse. He only got a slight scratch. A bee fly in and Martin take cover.

That's when she realise Steve says the truth. The duo go to a yacht club which the warning phone call is from. They saw the dirty cop and he is Colm. They told Bill about it, call Colm and make deal to meet.

Next day the situation turns bad. The backups are also baddies. Bill is captured. The shootings starts and they run away. Steve try to save Martin from been shot and got shot instead. Martin is fighting Eric and Steve kill him with a ball crane.

Steve return back to the force and Martin is made a cop too, been his partner. Attending a same case as they were before, Martin help a man open the car. Turns out he is wrong and the man is thief. He shoot the car and thief give up and alighted.

The car blows up...
