Not a creative or remotely funny bone in its body. Almost completely worthless. Stoned third graders could have produced this script. When a stripper farts on an Indian guy and Van Wilder remarks "hey, you just got your first blow job", I actually whimpered in pain. Only Ryan Reynolds' charm makes it even remotely watchable.
Nothing is worse than a bad comedy, and this is an inexcusable hackjob which is virtually indistinguishable from other college-oriented crap. Even the technical qualities suck, with poorly angled and out of focus shots and botched editing.
This type of bullshit is a massive zit on the face of cinema, and I'm sick of seeing it not only get produced, but make money, over and over and over again. Get some class, people, and some standards. I'm not religious, but Christ Almighty!
