Imagine all the films you could possibly watch on a lazy Sunday afternoon when you finally decide to sit through this classic. For the 25th time. It has aged a little, time has not been overly kind to some of the comedy, but for the most part, it remains pretty watchable.

Chevy Chase is an interesting leading man in that, heâ??s never really been that likeable, or generally considered that hilarious, I like him, but there have been far more talented comedians. Consider the show stealing cameo from John Candy as case in point.

It only makes you wonder what would have been for the next 15 years of Candyâ??s career if he hadnâ??t have passed when he did. Overall, this is pretty much a perfect 80s family comedy, which means both good and bad things.
