Review of National Lampoon's Loaded Weapon 1 (1993) by Ronnie B — 26 Jun 2007
In an alternative reality, Mel Gibson actually IS Emilio Estevez. But look! Samuel L. Jackson... BEFORE he was good!! (Pulp Fiction was still a year away.) Full of cameos and zany humour, with a hilarious role by William Shatner and his sidekick, Tim Curry, to counter the good guys with stupidity of their own.
This is actually so much fun to watch with a group of friends, for its escapist qualities and, of course, genius comedy.
