WE WANT TO BE PIGS! The main point of the film may just come from the consequences of that line. The good luck the Griswalds get would come back to get them, while they go on their trail of destruction all throughout western Europe.
The regional jokes are still relevant, though much of the background and pop-culture is quite dated, still a great view.
