Review of National Lampoon's European Vacation (1985) by James M — 29 Apr 2010
I like this in equal measure to the first Griswold vacation, despite the shameless (and quite xenophobic) stereotypes of Europeans. If you take it with a pinch of salt it's very funny. Especially the scene at the Eiffel Tower with the beret chasing dog & the obnoxious French waiter.
One question: Who casts the children for this? Wasn't Audrey older than Rusty in the first movie??
