Review of Nashville (1975) by Tory A — 29 May 2007
Definitely Robert Altman at his best. This searing parody of country music culture serves as an excellent forum for discussing the social events that preoccupied American culture in the 1970's. The ensemble shines here, and Lily Tomlin makes me happy.
Overall, and endearing and ingenious piece of film making.
