Review of Narc (2002) by Chris T — 27 Jul 2011

So there was this little movie called Training Day that apparently did OK...then there was this movie that hit independently and won the approval of Tom Cruise's film company to go to semi-wide release.

When a Narc on the verge of loosing his family due to getting to deep into his job, he helps a detective solve the murder of his partner. Soon the narc is forced to deal with his inner demons and realizes there are things unfolding in the investigation that will make him have to make the most difficult decision he has ever made.....extremely dark, deep, and sometimes quite brutal, the films final moments provide the most though provoking questions I've ever seen in a film, and, overall, this film is light years ahead of Training Day.
