Review of Napoleon Dynamite (2004) by Conni B — 10 Jun 2014

Rating: A+.

I will start off by saying that this movie is dumb. SO dumb. You would not think I'd say that for giving it such a high rating, but I am really being honest. The film makes no sense, it has no plot, and it is simply stupid. But...who cares? So, these days, I think that people have a tendency to take for granted what a film is supposed to be. As long as you know you are purely enjoyed, then it should be a good movie. The point of a comedy is to make people laugh. So who needs a plot? Napoleon Dynamite does what it is meant to do: and that is to make you laugh your head off. This is definitely by-far one of the funniest movies ever made, I believe. A lot of people say they didn't get this movie. I got it. I got that it was meant to be hysterical. And it was. This movie is stupid, but again, who in the world cares? And remember- Vote for Pedro.
